Why Us?

At SciConnect, our goal is to equip as many scientists as possible with the skills to share their research with wider audiences, to enhance the contribution of science to society and vice-versa.
Our clients include universities & institutes, research funders & programmes, government agencies & NGOs, and companies, across the UK and Europe. Since 2006, we have trained more than 12,000 scientists, from PhD students to Profs.
Our courses are led by award-winning science journalists and communicators who also have experience as research-active scientists, which gives us an excellent perspective of the needs of course participants.
The training that we provide is consistently rated as excellent by our clients, and examples of feedback comments from course participants include:
Brilliant course - varied mixture of exercises, presentations, good handouts, excellent tutors
I got a presentation award in a national meeting and I strongly believe that the skills that I gained from this workshop helped a lot for this result
...it has been the best and most useful personal training course that I have attended to date...
I thought I was a good communicator, however, this course has opened my eyes to new techniques
Please see 'Courses' for details of the training that we provide, and if you would like further information, please get in touch.
